Afterhours is the first one we ever finished. The candle that started this whole thing. The one we kept lighting when we wanted to know if anything else we made was working.
It was built for the slow second half of a night. The room after everyone leaves and the right person didn't. Smoke that won't apologize. Warmth that doesn't ask. Let it dwell.

How to light it
- First burn: take it the distance. Let the wax pool to the edge before you blow it out (around 90 min). Skip this and it will tunnel.
- Trim the wick. Every time. 1/4 inch before each burn. Long wicks smoke, drip, and halve the candle's life.
- Don't go past four hours. After four hours the throw goes flat. Blow it out and come back later.
- When it's done, it's done. Retire it at about half an inch left. Vessel cleans up with hot water; keep it for pencils, or don't.

- Is it really only 500?
- Yes. Each one is numbered. We made the run, signed it, and that's all there is. We don't do "limited edition" theater. When these are gone, we go pour the next thing instead of re-running this one.
- Will Vol. 01 ever come back?
