Returns

We want you to love what you bought. If you don’t, send it back. We don’t ask why.

The 30-day window

Returns are open for 30 days from the day your candle arrives. That includes candles you’ve lit. Burn it, live with it, decide. If it isn’t yours, send it back . full refund, no restocking fee, no questions.

How returns work

Email returns@dwellingflame.com with your order number. We’ll send a prepaid return label within one business day. When the candle gets back to us, your refund hits the original payment method within five business days.

We pay return shipping. Always.

Damaged on arrival

If your candle shows up broken, cracked, or otherwise mistreated by the carrier, send a photo to hello@dwellingflame.com within seven days. We replace it. You don’t return anything. The damaged one is yours to keep or recycle.

The short list of exceptions

We can’t accept returns on:

  • Gift cards
  • Anything custom-poured for a private commission
  • Candles that have been substantially used . meaning past the first burn or two. We trust you to be honest about this.

Cancellations

Change your mind before we ship? Email us. We’ll cancel and refund you in full. Once the candle is on a truck, the return process above takes over.
